Life

All this week was spent clearing the pending work I had, most of them trivial but time consuming. After returning from mumbai, we revamped the kannada project site a bit, and updated few articles. Have been reading Professor Shonku's exploits - written by Satyajit ray. I borrowed this book from Pramod who had bought this book at the airport mall. Very nice bunch of stories :) there's gonna be a write-up about it, very soon. ;) The next book would surely be the stories of Feluda.

(life... sigh!) I feel like a drone, all these days... with nothing solid happening in my job status. Attended wipro interview, in the week that passed. Didn't do well at all, actually. Hope to see some oppurtunities coming my way this week. For a change, though, I re-arranged my haunting place (my room :D), just for a bit of change. Bought some books. Scanned few photos and put them on DA... Good thing is that, I'm back to the good ol' habit of reading... lets see how the coming week goes.

Well, this is something that hasn't happened from the day I started using weblogs.us. But this time over, the server was down for a significantly long period. And all my mails to JD, Murali didn't get any replies. I figured out that there should've been some real serious problem. whatever is, its up again. and its blog time, folks! ;-)

ah... some eventful week! I've largely stayed at home, all these days. Except for few occasions when I went to meet my friends and ended up visiting many corners of Bangalore... Surprise for the week... my good ol' friend, santosh threw a unexpected phone call this morning. Its been almost 4 years since we saw each other's face! He was a don ;) in both school and college. Though we studied in different colleges, we used to be sitting in the same tutions every day, which was virtually another college for us! around 6-8 hrs of tution used to be there, each day!

so, the results for 8th sem, VTU, (our last semester in Engineering) is out. I was late to get to know mine... (credit for that goes to the infinitely slow VTU website) but, thanks to kiran and mrinal who checked it out, for me. as expected, everyone's got good results... and err..., for the file, I got 342/375 with 75 in MIE (though, it ain't gonna matter much for the job thingy, though ^_~ ) bye bye, Engineering!

well, its been days of phun... after the days of anxiety and busy days. suddenly, after all the gushes of exams, reports, here's this nice peaceful time... all these get togethers, movies, phun. (in general, being the master of your own time!) ;-) after a nice send-off was recieved, everyone's busy haunting theaters, restaurants, (and ofcourse few busy hunting jobs) watching 2 movies in a week, after no movies for months together, was in itself a record on my side ;-) On the hacking front, nothing was done all this week. obvious, heh. ;-) I revamped the code of few of my semester projects, took some time off re-structuring the files... planning to put them on my homepage soon. On evolution front, I was glad that the enhancement that I gave, was accepted (and committed). hpj did mention that it was a good job. I'm indeed happy for that :-)

ah... Life... (sigh) Coming two weeks are gonna be very tough ones, and important ones too... I've got to finalise my project, gotto finish the final report and study for the Theory Paper. All these days have taught me a lot. Both technically and personally, I've learnt my lessons. This would surely help me judge things better in the future. Meanwhile, Job Hunt is on... Hence, for a while, there won't be much activity on this blog.

Now, How many of us would've expected NDA toppling? and Congress coming to power in the centre? everybody went saying 'Congress for State and BJP for Centre'... Now, where did it go wrong? Phew! very sad thing... All the campaining by Congress ( see this ) did really pay off for them. Personally, I feel S M Krishna could've been given another chance, for his worth. A Hung Vidhan sabha is probably no good sign for the state. At the centre, now that Congress is going to form its government, can there be a sensible person like Manmohan singh as PM? ( just being over optimistic ;- ) )

Didn't do very well in the test. Much accredited to the illness, couldn't churn much of the work that was pending. Now, thanks to all that, I look forward to a hefty week. Lots of coding to do and ofcourse, there's this semester theory paper to study for. I've been preparing a handbook for the budding hackers of Evolution, with all that I've got to learn all these days. There's one write-up I've done on SQLite and ofcourse couple of cartoons, which should be up in few days from now, here, as time permits.
