India Water Portal

I was at Mangalore for last two days, being part of an event organized to discuss the situation of water in the region. The prime focus of this edition of the program was to get audience familiarized with some aspects of technology that would help them log about the changes happening around them in the overall management of water, and record their opinions, their take on all of this.

The other week, I was a curious participant in the concluding session of the recent training program Arghyam had organized to train non-profits participating in a state-wide survey they've planned. As someone who's helping out with Kannada version of the India Water Portal, I was very curious to see how they have planned the project and how they're going to execute this.

The India Water Portal initiated by Arghyam is now available in Kannada. The Kannada version of the portal is intended towards creating awareness about Water usage, Rainwater Harvesting and several issues, aspects surrounding Water. Readers can ask questions, take part in the discussions, contribute articles and information.
