The Indians should've done it well before!

On the pretext of downloading huge number of files from my PC to laptop, I had the oppurtunity to sit in front of TV and catch up with few sessions of India - England test today. The session before lunch and also the post-lunch session got onerously boring when jammy and Jaffer played some orthodox test cricket. They seemed to be quite content to see the day off, quitely defending every ball no matter whether it was a bad ball or a good one. Jammy, especially, looked very negative. It was a sad thing to see the captain of India (who should be leading from the front with positive attitude) thinking negative when there could've been a good chance of winning the game. Perhaps Aussie mentality of attacking even when pressure is on would've done better here, in this situation. But the attack came, and perhaps came very late. The positive tactics was surely absent when Jammy was still at the crease. Ironically, the English bowlers were already bowling the negative line with the two spinners, even with Indian batsmen duo still in the defensive! Perhaps the Indian coach would've told even Jaffer to gear up and pace up the scoring... some of the shots he played after lunch (4s hit back to back) showed signs of that. But it was the fear of losing the game that dominated their minds, probably. Those who watched the match today would surely be feeling that India came close to winning the match that England team dominated on the whole.
