Cricket season is back (although late for fans of the Indian team). It was a [:http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/dlfcup/content/current/story/259587.html|class act of the Indian legend] that kicked off the season opener [*].
It was saddening to hear that [:http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/dlfcup/engine/match/256607.html|Indian team lost] the match by [:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duckworth-Lewis_method|D/L method] after they put in such a wonderful show batting first.
It would be interesting to see how India plays Australia now, with the regained confidence in batting but trailing shadow of the doom in the opener.
[*] - Season opener? well, almost. The match in Sri Lanka got washed out.
