The Darjeeling Limited

Recently, I was surprised to see the name "Darjeeling" on [:http://apple.com/trailers|Apple's Movie Trailers] page. Turns out that there's an upcoming movie titled [:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darjeeling_Limited|"The Darjeeling Limited"] - a comedy set in India (and most probably shot extensively in India).
Irfan Khan is seen in the trailer. Owen Wilson (who acted beside Jackie in Shanghai Noon) and Adrien Brody (who played the lead role in "The Pianist") star as two of the three brothers in the plot that seems to feature a re-union of brothers. Going by the trailer, it sounds like a comedy in good taste. I've always liked (some of) Owen Wilson's comedy films and Adrien Brody's serious acting - it would be interesting to see how they both fit down into one comedy that is set in a land that might be unfamiliar to them both.
And let us hope there aren't any silly jokes or the usual stereotype about India in the movie.

It is a great honor to be
It is a great honor to be having comments from people like you on my humble blog. :)
And what a co-incidence! When writing this little post about "The Darjeeling Limited", the least thing I could've expected is to be talking with someone who was actually involved in the project!
It is nice to know that you liked the podcast and video we did on GTN. Thanks again for visiting my blog.
