Aishwarya on Oprah's show
Aish is on Oprah's "Woman across the globe" show. Aishwarya rai is one among the few women from around the globe interviewed on the show.
Oprah describes aishwarya as " This Bollywood beauty is a shrewd businesswoman, raking in the American equivalent of about $15 million a film."
One should really agree on that fact ;) not only is she stacking up lots of aishwarya (wealth), she's now becoming a popular face in the west, as well.

Oprah: Do they (Indian women) say we're rude?
Aishwarya: No, Indian people are very hospitable.
Oprah: Do they say we talk too much?
Aishwarya: Opinionated maybe.
Oprah: Do they say we get a lot of divorces?
Aishwarya: Ah, that could be a discussion.
Oprah: You know what, you could be a diplomat!

I agree with u shinu, she cannot act. but she is good and smart enough. well her beauty is actually fading away. but she is the pride of india. u dont get called to Dave letterman or oprah everyday or not just anybody!
i totally think sushmita sen should have been called for the oprah winfrey show!!!!! ash is such an embarrasment to the whole country!!!
Tina, your just jealous of Ash...She has done so well, where as sushmita hasn't done as well. Good for Ash for all she's done, and continue's to do. Letterman, Oprah, 60 minutes...she must be doing something right!
i think ash is good enough to be on the Oprah show only because she looks good and is smart enough, but hey,she acts horribly-how can she be known as a "leading bollywood actress" around the globe?in that case one must sent Shah Rukh,Amitabh,or Kajol on that show not ash.

she is beautyfull and smart AND she is a good actress, and if u all say she are'nt........
well, i can say just one thing..
she won't be making so many movies and no one would be appreciate her in any movie of her.
but we have differents tastes huh..;)

Aishwarya is beautiful indeed but has no real screen presence Hollywood standards... (Bollywood or Hollywood) she is not a refine actor to say the least and rightfully so, she is not a trained actress. Her good looks should receive all the rave reviews and apparently it has (she is a former Ms. World & the most beautiful women in the world (so Julia said); essentially her face is her asset. Nevertheless, it is going to be interesting to watch her along side heavy weights like Colin & Ben. Remember this is not “Bollywood

Let's accept it once and for all... India is a country obsessed with blue eyes and fair skin, and Aishwarya Rai fits the "indian" concept of beauty perfectly! Cynic or not, can anyone honestly say that she would have been just as well received in Bollywood and won the title of being the "most downloaded face on the internet", if not for those baby blues and the fair complexion?
Sushmita, according to me, is the face of the new Indian womanhood... independent, willing to take risks in her personal and professional life and not ashamed to be honest about it.
Aishwarya, on the other hand, is nothing more than giggles and smirks, and after Salman... need one say anything more?

question regarding skin lightening she had nothing real to say.
